No. It's a self-install: locate the diagnostic port, plug the device in until it seats, and pair the driver app. No tools, no splicing, no downtime — most drivers do it in the time it takes to fuel up.
Unplug it, plug it into the new truck, and update the vehicle in the app so your records stay tied to the right unit. The device isn't locked to one truck — it moves when you do.
If a device stops behaving, contact support@drayeld.com. We'll troubleshoot it with you — and if the unit is defective, we'll get a replacement sorted so you're not running without a logbook.
