It goes straight into the truck's diagnostic port and pairs with the iOS or Android driver app. Self-install in minutes — no technician required.

Duty status records itself. At roadside, open inspection mode and hand the officer a clean log — or transfer it electronically, whichever they ask for.
The platform doesn't change shape as you grow, and neither does the maths. Find the one that sounds like you.
You're the driver, the dispatcher and the back office. Duty status records itself, IFTA miles add up as you drive, and the DVIR goes in from the phone that's already in the cab.
Every truck, trailer and sensor on one dashboard, with geofence and connectivity status at a glance — so you find out about a problem before your customer does.
Add a truck the same day you buy it. There's no renegotiation, no seat count to true up and no tier to graduate into — the tenth truck costs what the first one did.
No per-feature upsells on the core platform. The whole toolkit ships with every truck you add.
Compliance
Included
Automatic duty status, live Hours of Service clocks and the RODS graph officers expect.
Visibility
Included
Live location, geofence alerts, ETAs and connectivity status across the whole fleet.
Reporting
Included
Miles by jurisdiction totted up as you drive, so the quarterly filing is already done.
Assets
Included
Chassis, containers and trailers tracked with IoT sensors — even when they're parked.
One truck or thirty — the same platform scales with you, and the price never changes shape.
A registered ELD with the records, displays and electronic transfer methods required for roadside inspections in all 50 states.
Know where every truck is, set geofences around yards and customers, and see connectivity at a glance from the web dashboard.
Jurisdiction miles and fuel captured automatically, so quarter-end stops being a weekend of spreadsheets.
Driver vehicle inspection reports from the app, plus maintenance reminders before a defect turns into an out-of-service order.
An expandable add-on for road, cab and side views when you want eyes on the road as well as a log of it.
Track chassis, containers and trailers with battery-powered sensors that keep reporting long after the tractor has gone.
The ELD mandate comes down to a short list of obligations. Pick one to see where it lives in DRAYELD.
If you're required to keep Records of Duty Status, the thing recording them has to be an ELD registered with the FMCSA. An app that merely looks like a logbook doesn't satisfy the rule, however tidy the screen is.
DRAYELD is a registered ELD listed with the FMCSA. The DRAY-100 Smart ELD Gateway is the recording device; the driver app is how you read, annotate and certify what it recorded.
An ELD has to take duty status from the vehicle itself — engine power, motion, miles and engine hours — rather than from whatever the driver remembers to type in at the end of the shift.
The DRAY-100 plugs into the truck's diagnostic port and reads the engine directly, then pairs to the driver app by QR. Drivers annotate and certify the day — they don't author the driving time.
Drivers must be able to produce the day's Records of Duty Status on demand, in the graph-grid format inspectors read, together with the current Hours of Service position.
The driver app carries the RODS graph and live HOS clocks, and inspection mode puts a clean display one tap away — no digging through menus at the window.
At an inspection the log has to be transferable using the electronic methods the FMCSA supports — or displayed to the officer directly, if that's what they'd rather have.
Both are built in, in all 50 states and D.C. Hand over the display or send the file electronically — whichever the officer requests, it's the same two taps.
Carriers have to retain Records of Duty Status and the supporting documents that go with them for six months — which is the part that catches people out mid-switch.
Your logs are retained in the fleet dashboard. If you're arriving from another provider, export their records before you close that account — the six months of history has to come with you.
General guidance on the FMCSA's ELD rule — not legal advice. Requirements and exemptions carry specific conditions, so check current FMCSA guidance against your own operation.
Most of what makes ELDs expensive isn't the technology — it's the contract wrapped around it.
What owner-operators tell us they're escaping
One price, month to month
There's no term to wait out on our side and nothing to uninstall from the truck but a plug. Most drivers switch between shifts.
Before you cancel anything, download your Records of Duty Status and supporting documents from your current provider — carriers have to keep six months of them.
$60 one-time for the DRAY-100, or the $180 bundle with a full year of service. It ships to you — there's no install appointment to book.
Pull the old unit out of the diagnostic port, push the DRAY-100 in, scan the QR to pair the driver app. Logging starts on the next dispatch.
Once your drivers are logging on DRAYELD, cancel the old subscription. Ours is month-to-month at $10 a truck, so there's nothing new to sign.
Not sure where your current contract stands? Email support@drayeld.com and we'll walk you through it.
